The Gratton Trust is delighted to present two newly repaired and refurbished park benches on the Gratton. The original wood beams had become rotten over the years, and to Trust explored their options. After some research we found that we could buy beams made from recycled plastic, the same material that the round picnic tables are made from. This material is very durable and should give us many many years of use. A small team of Trustees and volunteers set about procuring the materials, removing the rotten beams and installing the new plastic ones.

The Trust, a group of local resident volunteers, exist to maintain and develop the Gratton for the general well being of the local community. We do this by organising fundraising events throughout the year. The trust is most grateful for the support from its local community, and wholly reliant on its volunteers.
