The Gratton Trust is made up completely of volunteers; all local residents willing to support the objectives of the Trust in maintaining and developing the Gratton. Their work is selfless. However, from time to time they have been recognised by the local community.
Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service
On the 2nd June 2018 the Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire awarded the Gratton Trust the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.
Mayor of Winchester’s Community Award
In 2022 the Trustees were awarded the annual Mayor of Winchester’s Community Award. Such awards are given to ‘individuals and organisations that have made a real difference in the Winchester district’. The Gratton Trust was kindly nominated by a local resident.
