The Trustees were out in force today to complete the annual wildflower bank rake-off.
Did you know that wildflowers flourish in poor soil?
Letting last year’s crop lie on the ground will nourish the soil, which of course you would want for a normal flowerbed. However, for the wildflowers we rake-off what remains of last year.
Several of the Trustees were out today and between them they managed to collect 9 cubic meters of garden waste. Fingers crossed for a colourful wildflower bank in 2023.
