Gratton Pavilion defibrillator

The Gratton Trust is proud to host a defibrillator on its premises, it is available 24/7 365 days of the year for medical emergencies anywhere in the village

If someone near you collapses, is unresponsive and is not breathing then do the following immediately:

  • Call 999 and ask for Ambulance
  • State your location and calmly and clearly tell them the situation
  • If someone is with you then send them for the nearest defibrillator (see below)
  • Commence CPR
  • On arrival of defibrillator turn on device and follow verbal and video instructions until arrival of Ambulance Service
  • If no defibrillator is available continue CPR until arrival of Ambulance Service

Collecting defibrillator:

  • Go to Gratton Pavilion
  • Despite appearances, the AED cabinet is UNLOCKED
  • Open the cabinet
  • Remove orange defibrillator pack
  • Return to patient
  • Turn on device and follow verbal instructions
  • You will need to remove the casualty’s clothing to expose the chest. There is a pair of shears, gloves, and razor in the orange pack.
